Van Gogh Dutch Caramel vodka was first launched in 2009 and calls itself "sinfully delicious." The light tan color occurs naturally from burned sugar.
All of the Van Gogh vodkas are made from grain and purified water with a six-week "all natural double infusion flavoring process." They are named, of course, for the inestimable (and mad) painter this vodka promises to "excite your senses" and "electrify your senses."
An infusion of cocoa beans provides a faint brownish tinge to this otherwise nearly clear spirit. It's sweet on the palate, with lingering fudge-like and milk-caramel notes.
