American Oak Cask HH0312 was distilled in May of 2000 and bottled in July of 2017, making it a whopping seventeen years old. This 200L American Oak ex-bourbon cask produced only 200 bottles in the classic Sullivans Cove American Oak style, and is one of the oldest single cask whiskies we've ever released.
"This whisky has an incredible range of flavours, with stone fruits, plums, fairy floss, musk sticks, jelly beans, dried apricot, vanilla, spiced oak and figs on the nose, and vanilla, almonds, sponge cake, and coconut husk through the palate and finish. It's really cool to see an Australian whisky of this age with such complexity."
