This Estate is a blend of our many different vineyard sites, twenty four percent Little Hill, eighteen percent Sweetwater, eighteen percent West Block, fourteen percent Big Hill, fourteen percent East Block and twelve percent River Block. This full bodied wine possesses the typical Rochioli character and the Classic Russian River Valley charm. Aged in French oak for 15 months, the wine displays a full body and silky texture finish, with a balanced structure. Elegant and beautifully balanced, the aromas of ripe cherry, hints of vanilla and savory herbs, while the palate is juicy and refined with a hint of dusty cherry. The wine has a big rich mouth-feel, silky tannins and a long finish. Pinot Noir can pair with a wide range of foods including rack of lamb, grilled salmon, beef bourguignon, pancetta wrapped roasted turkey and mushroom risotto.
