For this limited edition, the whisky’s barley was grown only in the fields of the Cadboll Estate which surround their Distillery, for a spirit of unique creaminess.
Aged for 15 years and matured exclusively in first-fill American oak bourbon barrels, this single malt brings an intense oak depth and a rounded smoothness.
It is intense and crunchy, with lots of oak, peanut brittle, malty or biscuity notes, and hints of crème brûlée. After a while, some orange oil and lemon zest. Ripe pear emerges, along with a subtle hint of menthol. A splash of water opens the floral nature of the whisky with hints of jasmine, rose and honeycomb.
