Exquisite fruit and spice aromas. On the palate, perfect harmony between structure and elegance: rich, complex and voluptuous. Very good aging potential.
93 Points Burghound - A discreetly perfumed nose offers up a more elegant mix of red currant, wild dark berries, cassis, spice and stone aromas. There is excellent richness and first-rate phenolic maturity to the silky-textured middle weight flavors that brim with mouth coating dry extract on the long, serious, balanced and saline-suffused finish. This is very much built on its minerality and should amply repay longer-term storage.
92 Points International Wine Cellar - Bright, deep red. Redcurrant, mocha and spices on the slightly medicinal nose; lower-pitched and less perfumed than the Fremiets. Supple and deep but a bit dry in spite of its ripeness and solid extract. In a disturbed state today and showing limited sweetness of fruit.
