Description

Exquisite fruit and spice aromas. On the palate, perfect harmony between structure and elegance: rich, complex and voluptuous. Very good aging potential.

94 Points Wine Enthusiast - *Cellar Selection* This is its usual opulent, generous self, although in 2011 the fruit dominates. Ripe strawberry fruits are packed around sweet tannins and balanced with acidity. The wine is rich but is also powered with a firm structure.

90-93 Points Burghound - *Outstanding!* A discreetly perfumed nose offers up a more elegant mix of red currant, wild dark berries, cassis, spice and stone aromas. There is excellent richness and first-rate phenolic maturity to the silky-textured middle weight flavors that brim with mouth coating dry extract on the long, serious, balanced and saline-suffused finish. This is very much built on its minerality and should amply repay longer-term storage.

91 Points Wine Spectator - Features a rich texture, with cherry, raspberry and spice flavors. Bright and well-balanced, offering a lingering aftertaste of fresh berry and spice. Drink now through 2023.
