Shipping Policy

Our rates and options:

We have negotiated rates from UPS and FedEx that we pass on to you. If you are local to the SF Bay Area, you are welcome to stop by our warehouse in Milpitas. Local pick up is free of course and we also deliver to the South Bay for orders over $1,000.

Where we ship:

Wine shipment regulations are confusing, evolving, and vary by state. If you have any questions about international & destinations, go ahead and place your order and we will contact you if there are any issues. State by state laws provided by Wine Enthusiast. 

Age verification:

All wine shipments require an adult signature (for obvious reasons) so please make sure you plan accordingly. UPS and FedEx will leave door tags if they miss you. Call them right away to have them hold for pickup or make other arrangements. We recommend you ship to a business address to ensure the package is not returned. In the unfortunate situation that it is returned we charge for reshipping.

Returns:

It is illegal to return alcohol so we do not accept returns on bottles that have left our premises. If you have any issues please take pictures of the wine and packaging and email us at support@wineglobe.com.

How we ship:

We ship all our packages in UPS/FEDEX approved wine specific packaging. We also use parafilm to secure bottles that are at risk for leaks during shipping. We recommend you ship during cool days or use expedited shipping options. We can also hold your items until weather permits.

Extreme Weather Policy:

Wine Globe can hold shipments in case of extreme weather. To have your shipment held please mention "Hold for Weather" in the notes at checkout. 

If you do not select hold for weather we will ship your order typically same day. Wine Globe is not responsible for popped corks, leaking or any other damage due to extreme temperatures.
