Gold Medal Decanter 2018
Blend of around 40% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 10% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre from 25-year-old vines grown on a mixture of clay mica schist and sand soils. Whole clusters are crushed by direct pressing, followed by stainless steel fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Blending occurs after, and the wine undergoes 6 months aging on the lees in steel tank to allow the development of complex flavors and texture. (16,000 cs)
91 Points Wine Enthusiast - This is a soft and ripe wine, full of rounded red berry fruits. The fruit is boosted by its acidity to give a fresh feel. The texture is soft, with a shot of pepper to add complexity at the end.
