| 2006 Geyser Peak Sauvignon Blanc River road 750ml|
Alexander Valley, California
This very aromatic and refreshing white has a very complex nose of lime, lemon, minerals and a bit of gooseberry which you normally only find in New Zealand wines. The palate is full bodied and rich with lemons, other citrus flavors and, again, a bit of that gooseberry flavor with a long, fresh finish. No grassiness or herbal character like so many California Sauv Blancs
The Varietal Wines of Geyser Peak Winery have achieved distinction for their outstanding quality and superior value. Made from grapes sourced primarily in Sonoma County, the varietals showcase the quality of Sonoma's unique growing conditions
this wine pairs beautifully with oysters, fresh chèvre and seviche.
