| 2006 Sineann Chardonnay Oregon (Stelvin) 12 Pack|
2006 Sineann Chardonnay Oregon's elite Sineann (pronounced "shin-'ay-ann") Winery is better known for its rich pinot noirs, their white wines are also excellent, and this unoaked chardonnay is an excellent example of this winery's quality. The wine expresses the deep, pure fruit for which Oregon is justly famous, with no oak to mask the scents and flavors of crisp apple, persimmon and pit fruits. The richness is well-balanced by crisp acidity, and the finish is lingering and delicious. This is a wonderfully pure example of Oregon chardonnay at a very reasonable price.
Chardonnay goes well with chicken, seafood, and fish.
Chardonnay originated in the Burgundy region of France. There are many world-class Chardonnays being produced in California. These wines are often fruity and oaky, but vary quite a bit from producer to producer.
