| Enzo Valentin Bianchi Mendoza Argentina Red Blend 750ml 6 Pack|
The rich varietal flavor of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape grown in Argentina and aged in new oak results in a harmonious, velvety wine of great balance and prominent personality. This wine has an excellent concentration of mature fruit on the nose and in the mouth. The finish rewards with lingering hints of cassis, chocolate, cherry and pepper.
The Cabernet grapes come primarily from Finca Asti, situated in Las Paredes in San Rafael, Mendoza, around 750 meters above sea level. The grapes for Enzo 2003 were hand-harvested in small 30-40 lb. picking lugs and specially sorted prior to crushing to eliminate any unripe or
compromised fruit. After destemming but before pumping into the fermentation tanks, a second sorting removed pieces of stems and fruit not fully colored. The wine went through classical fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with frequent pump-over. Total time on skins was up to 28 days. The wine spent 14 months in 100-percent new oak (90-percent French oak and 10-percent American barrels).
This is the top wine of Bodegas Valentin Bianchi, and a tribute to our main winemaker for more than 50 years. Produced according to the standards of the best wines in the world, it stands out for it's complexity and aromatic intensity, great volume in the mouth, harmony and sophistication. It has a great potential to be kept in the bottle, which increases it's complexity and it's stateliness.
Serve at room temperature as a perfect accompaniment to red meats.
