| Domaine De Beaupre Rose France |
Product Notes: 2008 Domaine De Beaupre Coteaux D'Aix En Provence Rosehas a very pale rosé with shades of salmon. The reflections are of copper and raspberry. The degrade is translucent, bright and silvery. The wine is clear and offers a good concentration of matter as to its visual aspect.
Nose - To the nose the wine appears fine and delicate as well as having a minerality. With a little aeration the fruity blend transpires with notes of raspberries, wild strawberries, cherries, mulberries. The delicacy comes without a doubt with notes of roses and fresias. An aroma of liquorice and freshness adds a sweetness to the blend.
Palate - In the mouth the flavour is full and velvety with flavours of red fruits, dominated by the raspberry. The wine is fresh, incisive and strong, with an impression of English sweet prevailing throughout the taste. A very balanced wine with minerals which are from the heart of the terroir. An undeniable reference to the Coteaux d'Aix. This fruity wine would be the ideal accompaniment to a summer meal.

About Estate: Beaupré is first and foremost a family with traditions: Baron Emile Double created the vineyard and the château's cellar in 1890, a cellar which today houses oak stock vats allowing the conservation of the red wines. The château, built in 1739 was admitted to the beautiful Bastides Provençales in the 18th century. A fountain, decorated with four dolphins whose tails were broken during the revolution in 1789, adds to the charm of the place. Now, the fourth generation has passed the baton to the fifth - and after its first vintage year in 2005, the young oenologist Phanette Double was rated as the very best by la Revue de France!
But Beaupré is also a terroir. The clay and limestone produces powerful wines close to a Bordeaux-style with original grape blends, and the Château was a pioneer in the planting of the Cabernet-Sauvignon grape in Provence. Beaupré is a vineyard of 40 hectors, situated in the exceptional surroundings of the Aix countryside, where the grapes are harvested only when they reach optimal maturity. An illustrious estate, which is proved through its impressively consistent reviews
