| Vampire Chardonnay 750ml Paso Robles, California |
Product Notes: Citrus fruit aromas combine with mineral notes on the nose, in an unoaked, lighter, elegant style of chardonnay more typical of the northern Burgundian and Chablis style than the fat, oakier style of this French oak variety. The straw-green color indicates a clean, well protected wine, confirmed by fresh, structured fruit flavor. A zingy acid backbone gives this wine the strength to age for a long period. A 20% malolactic fermentation fills out the flavor of the wine, giving it good complexity, while not detracting from the crisp freshness.
