Product Notes:
Bushmills Irish Whiskey is the original and best known whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery, the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. It is a blend of single malt and single grain whiskeys.
Grain whiskey reserved for Bushmills is aged a minimum of five years in oak casks that are specially selected to bring out the golden hue and light, yet distinctive characteristics of the whiskey.
When mature, this grain whiskey is blended with a single malt whiskey to balance the flavour. The malt used in our mash derives its clean taste from the deliberate absence of peat used in the barley drying process. Irish whiskey distilleries kiln-dry their malt in a heat-fired, not peat-fired, oven.
Lighter, no smoke and perfectly balanced, Bushmills is triple distilled for exceptional smoothness.

The Old Bushmills Distillery is devoted to the production of the finest quality Irish whiskey. Whiskey making at Bushmills draws on centuries-old distilling history, including the first licence to distil whiskey, granted for the county of Antrim in 1608. These skills and tradition still live on today at the Old Bushmills Distillery, and shine through every drop of our whiskey.
Another unique aspect of the Old Bushmills Distillery is that malt distilling, blending, maturation and bottling are all carried out on the same site. Our passion for whiskey-making and in-house expertise in all stages of the whiskey production process are the critical factors in the quality and complexity of the Bushmills family of whiskeys.

Recipe:
Hot Spiced Apple Champagne Punch Recipe
3 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
1 Tbsp grated orange zest
12 oz frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
4 bottles white wine
1 bottle Champagne, chilled

For Ice Ring
8oz pineapple chunks
1 orange, sliced into rounds
4oz maraschino cherries, drained

This definitely makes enough for a large party!
Put the pumpkin pie spice, orange zest and apple juice into a pan. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
In a large container, mix juice and white wine, and chill overnight. At this same time, make an ice ring out of the fruits, and freeze overnight.
Strain the liquid, and put into a punch bowl. Add in the Champagne. Top with fruit ice ring.
