We are currently in possession of a few thousand bottles of soiled label wines and spirits. This was due to water and carbon damage as a result of a fire at WineGlobe's primary location. We have tasted many wines at random and they taste good.

The $200 price includes a random assortment of 12 bottles of premium wine! You will get an assortment of Red, White, Rose, Sparkling, Port and Dessert.

Q: What wines will I get with my order?

A: Everything is random. We will just grab wine from the shelf, and pack it up. We do know that there are plenty of bottles in the mix that would sell from $25 to $250+ by themselves. We have some great Cabernet, Brunello, Australian, Super Tuscan, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel, Champagne, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, White Bordeaux, white Burgundy, Chablis, and much more! The value of your case will easily exceed $75 if purchased brand new. Please note, the majority of the bottles are standard 750mL bottles, but there are some 375mL "half" bottles in the mix as well. No case will have more than two half bottles.

Q: What are the values of these wines?

A: It varies. We have wines that sell anywhere from $10 to $250+ each brand new. Of course, due to unfortunate circumstances, they're not worth that much anymore, so we're moving them out at huge, huge, huge discounts. The value of your case will easily exceed the price.

Q: Why are you selling these wines for so cheap?

A: WineGlobe suffered a tragic fire at our main warehouse in 2006. As the fire fighters went through the warehouse to kill the fire, many of the bottles that didn't get fire damaged suffered water and carbon damage. After cleaning the bottles up, they are now ready for sale, although most of the bottles have imperfect labels. We have randomly opened over 100 bottles of wine, and found most to be delicious!

Q: Did the wines suffer from heat damage?

A: It's impossible to say. Most of the wines were present in a building that caught fire, However, most of the building did not burn down, and we already threw away a huge amount of wine that showed signs of heat damage (such as a cork pushed halfway out of the bottle). These wines are the best of what we have left after our tragic fire.

Q: What if some of the wines are not good? Can I return them? What can I do with them?

A: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on these wines. However, we have found that they make excellent wines for cooking, as well as for making marinades, sauces, fondues, and cocktails.
